Mark Jeffries

Biography

Mark is a Research Associate at the NIHR Greater Manchester Patient Safety Translational Research Centre and the Centre for Pharmacoepidemiology and Drug Safety, Division of Pharmacy and Optometry, School of Health Sciences. The main focus of his current research is how medication safety can be enhanced by interventions involving clinician and pharmacist access to information technology To date this has involved the REMIT project which is a realistic evaluation of a IT system used in medicines management and a qualitative process evaluation of the SMASH dashboard as it is implemented in general practice.
