Biography
Dr Alistair Reid is a consultant Clinical Scientist in the CPA-accredited Imperial Molecular Pathology Laboratories. He also holds a HEFCE-NIHR Senior Lecturership in the Centre for Haematology at Imperial College. He has an active laboratory-based translational research program and is mentor to 3 Ph.D. students. His main research interests are the genomic and transcriptomic heterogeneity of chronic myeloid leukaemia and novel methods for the personalised genetic management of malignancy. Dr Reid lectures on cancer genetics to BSc, MBBS and MSc students and offers a limited number of research projects for BSc and MSc students.
