Biography
Ben graduated from the University of Cambridge School of Clinical Medicine in December 2004 and subsequently embarked on his clinical career based in the Wessex Deanery. He is mid-way through his Higher Surgical Training in General Surgery. He joined the Centre for Patient Safety and Service Quality in October 2012 to undertake a PhD continuing work on the High Performance in Surgery (HiPer) project. His work will involve examination of the relationship between outcome measures, as well as developing a methodology to assess individual units and determine what organisational factors may be associated with high performance within surgery.
