Biography
Chloe Bloom is a research fellow in Respiratory Epidemiology, Occupational Medicine and Public Health at the National Heart and Lung Institute. Dr Bloom completed her specialist respiratory training in North West London in 2014. During this time she undertook a PhD as a MRC Clinical Research Training Fellow under Professor Anne O’Garra at the MRC-National Institute for Medical Research, where she applied bioinformatics and biostatistics in the evaluation of genomic and clinical data. After receiving her CCT she went on to obtain an MSc in Epidemiology from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in 2016. Dr Bloom’s research interests centre on the use of electronic health records to study patients in the UK with asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
