Christopher R. Jones

Biography

Christopher Jones is a clinical research fellow working under Dr Graham Cooke in the Department of Virology at St Mary's Campus. His responsibilities include the NIHR Health Informatics Collaborative (NHIC) - viral hepatitis theme. NHIC aims to demonstrate how collaboration and sharing of NHS clinical information held electronically can facilitate more effective clinical research, and lead to benefits for patients, researchers and NHS staff. Of particular interest is the evolving landscape of hepatitis C in the era of novel direct acting antivirals. Having completed Core Medical Training he is acquiring research experience by working towards an MD alongside studying for the Diploma in the Medical Care of Catastrophes and the Diploma of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene.
