Biography
Davies is Professor of Anatomy in the Department of Surgery and Cancer at Imperial College London. He has overall responsibility for the provision of undergraduate Anatomy teaching and takes the lead for Anatomy teaching in the Graduate Entry Programme. He also contributes to the 6 year MBBS course, the Biomedical Sciences BSc course and is active in postgraduate medical education. Ceri is active in supporting the discipline of Anatomy at a national and international level and has served on the Human Tissue Authority. He is currently President of the Anatomical Society, Vice-President of the Institute of Anatomical Sciences and the Inspector of Anatomy for Ireland. His research interests are: the pathophysiology of septic encephalopathy, the pathogenesis of Alzheimer's disease and comparative neuroanatomy.
