Biography
I currently work as Senior Data Scientist at Imanova Ltd. At Imperial I'm an Honorary Research Fellow in the Division of Brain Sciences, where I supervise Andre Santos Ribeiro, who is doing a PhD investigating structural registration issues in MRI, and where I was previously a postdoctoral Research Associate for four years. My research interests include the acqusition and analysis of functional brain images using magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), especially the detection and removal of artefacts which confound our abilities to understand the underlying brain activity. Before Imperial, I did my PhD at the University of Bristol in the Computer Vision group and Psychopharmacology Unit developing data-driven methods for the analysis of MRI data. Going back even further I did my MSc in Medical Physics at the University of Aberdeen, and, before that, my BSc in Physics at University College London
