Lucia M. Li

Biography

I obtained my medical degree at the University of Cambridge and did my foundation training in the Eastern Deanery. During this time, I became very interested in the scientific and clinical aspects of traumatic brain injury (TBI), and carried out research on surgical management of TBI with Peter Hutchinson. When I was awarded an NIHR Academic Clinical Fellowship in Neurology, I joined the C3NL (Computational, Cognitive and Clinical Neuroimaging Laboratory) and Imperial TBI group (headed by David Sharp and Richard Wise). I am currently a Wellcome Trust Clinical Research Training Fellow and my projects use non-invasive brain stimulation, combined with neuroimaging. Using these techniques, I hope to develop new strategies and approaches for treating cognitive deficits occuring as a result of TBI
