Biography
Grech-Sollars is an MRI Physicist working as an Imperial College Research Fellow in the field of Neuro-Oncology Neuroimaging. His key interest is in developing novel imaging techniques, with a particular focus on MRI, to improve clinical outcomes for patients with brain tumours, and a vision of having these methods integrated into clinical practice. Matthew joined Imperial College London in 2014, after receiving his PhD from University College London, titled “Diffusion MRI for characterising childhood brain tumours” and supervised by Prof Chris A Clark. Previously, he obtained his MSc in Biomedical Engineering with Medical Physics from Imperial College London in 2010, after having worked in industry as an Engineer for three years.
