Biography
Sue Wilson is Senior Research Fellow in the Centre for Neuropsychopharmacology, Division of Brain Sciences. Sue Wilson’s research has concentrated on the use of EEG and objective sleep measurement in the study of drugs and their neurotransmitter actions in the human brain. She has studied drug effects on sleep in depression, anxiety, substance abuse and sleep disorders such as insomnia and parasomnias. She has also used sleep and daytime EEG to track pharmacodynamic effects of new drugs in healthy volunteers. She recently coordinated the BAP consensus group on treatment of sleep disorders.
