Biography
Conor has taught in Brighton, Manchester and France and is now in Harrogate, currently as Head of Physics at Ashville College. Since 2006 he has been working with the Science Learning Centre (Yorkshire and Humber) at Sheffield Hallam University delivering courses such as ‘Physics for non-specialists’, the Science as an Additional Specialism Programme (SASP) and now the Subject Knowledge Enhancement Plus (SKE+) programme as well as bespoke courses for schools in the area. Since joining the National Space Academy team of Lead Educators over a year ago, Conor has developed new activities for students involving particle physics in the early universe and computer models of landing rovers on the surface of Mars.
