Biography
I started my nursing career in 1995 and went on to train as a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse, practising in the health visiting field. I have been working in Higher Education since 2008, working across a range of professional and non-professional programmes, broadly in nursing and public health. I joined Northumbria University in 2015 and currently work as a senior lecturer in the Department of Nursing, Midwifery and Health. Research Interest
Current EdD student at Durham University. Thesis Title: Graduating from care. A narrative study into the experiences and identity of University students who have experience of being in the Looked After Care System. Interested in: Specialist Community Public Health Nursing, Education, Widening participation in Higher Education.
