Biography
Paul is a Research Fellow in the Department for Social Sciences. He has undertaken research and evaluation across a wide range of policy areas including criminal justice, homelessness, social exclusion, supported employment, trade unions, culture & heritage, children’s services, domestic abuse, animal welfare and the role of the third sector in the delivery of public. He has worked on projects funded by the Department of Health, Department of Work and Pensions, the Ministry of Justice, the TUC, local government, the National Trust and the Scottish Government. Before joining the Department in 2004, Paul was a researcher at Barnardo’s and the Sustainable Cities Research Institute.

equality & diversity, criminal justice and offending, healthcare in prisons, culture, heritage, housing, governance, partnership working, service commissioning, public service delivery and worklessness & welfare reform.
