Simon Robson

Biography

Dr Simon Robson graduated in 1982 and had a number of jobs prior to joining the University in 1999. He lectures in planning and property development issues and has research interests in decision making, intuition, sustainable development and risk. Simon -RobsonImmediately prior to coming to Northumbria I worked for the Reconstruction and Development Corporation in Belize. This was a wonderful experience with some interesting challenges and great scuba diving. Before Belize I worked for eight years as Principal Development Surveyor for London Transport where I was responsible for over station developments in central London including Hammersmith Island, Victoria, and South Kensington. Age and injury have restricted my participation in sport to mountain biking and walking - rugby and football are generally enjoyed from the touchline.
