Biography
Clodagh is Project Manager of Network for Languages East Midlands, part of the Network for Languages. Network for Languages is an established network of universities that builds on the former UK national project Links into Languages by providing training, networking and professional development for language teachers in primary and secondary schools across the East Midlands. This role involves planning, coordinating and project-managing a strategic programme of professional development and network support across the region and ensuring that key national and regional priorities and CPD needs are identified and met. It also involves influencing a variety of key individuals and organisations to ensure engagement with the work of the programme on a regional level. Clodagh also delivers the Modern Foreign Language strand of the School Direct teacher training programme within Nottingham Institute of Education at Nottingham Trent University.Before working at Nottingham Trent University Clodagh worked in secondary schools as: Foreign Language Teacher (French and Italian), Head of Modern Languages, Advanced Skills Teacher.
