Biography
As an academic mentor within the personalisation team Joanna supports 1st & 2nd years in their transition to university and to reach their full potential. Senior Lecturer Executive Education – module lead Professional Development BAML, Experiential Learning Tutor on BABM (in company) Joanna has worked with in academia for the last 7 years in a number of role including Workforce Development Fellow where she managed a number of client partnerships to develop innovative educational solutions to meet their business needs in line with HE quality assurance processes. Specialising in retail leadership and management to respond to the sector’s current and emerging needs. Prior to this she has had numerous roles within the not for profit sector including - Finance manager providing strategic and operational financial management for a charity with a turnover of £1million. The role also included project management, finance and business development & advice. Operations Manager in which she successfully managed an operations team to deliver a work programme in the region of £1.2 million in line with funders and organisational requirements. This involved negotiated numerous service level agreements with partner organisations, carried out programme planning, work allocation, budget planning and control, managed periods of change during restructure and high staff turnover setting up new systems to improve performance management and efficiency ,contributed to the strategic direction of the Trust through presentation of financial & management information to the Board of Directors
