Simon Beales

Biography

Si is a Senior Lecturer in fashion communications and promotion and has been seconded as a Principal Lecturer to spend half his time as Business Relationships Manager for The School of Art & Design. He is a module leader with particular interest in brand development and digital communication. He works with NTU and business to develop collaborations between staff, students and industry to deliver new experiences and greater expertise.Previous roles have included: Managing Director - Sarah Arnett LtdA womenswear designer label selling in over 100 stores worldwide including Harvey Nichols and Liberty – winner of UK Fashion export Award in 2007 Managing Director – Mind’s Eye Communications LtA marketing communications company working brands such as Nike, Coca Cola and Canon. Chairman of Creative Brighton Writing for The Guardian, Vogue, BA Business Life and Drapers
