Tara Brassil

Biography

Senior Lecturer, LLB FT Deputy Programme Leader Tara's main responsibilities are to contribute to teaching on both the full-time and part-time modes of the courses provided by NLS. At present she is part of the Family and Criminal teaching teams. She also teaches professional skills, namely advocacy and interviewing skills. In addition, Tara contributes to the planning of large and small group teaching sessions, including preparation of course materials. Her teaching interests include the areas of crime, family and skills teaching as outlined above.

Research Interest

Tara has 12 years experience in practice as a solicitor working for a large Legal Aid firm in Nottingham. She currently holds a practicing certificate with her old firm and is Duty Solicitor on both the court and police station rotas.
