Biography
I am currently a Research Fellow on the MK:Smart project. I am currently conducting research into teaching data literacy from complex data sets to children between the ages of 8-18. I am also developing tangible technologies for connecting people with data from their environment. I have previous worked on projects such as Decipher, SILVER, Tiny-in and MGT.
Research Interest
My key interest is in connecting people with data from their environment and in how to educate from and about complex data sets. My research interests are in learning technologies, narratives, games, inquiry-based and mobile learning, curatorial inquiry and social curation, learning analytics, smart city technologies and stigmergent narratives derived through a physical and conceptual space.
