Biography

Mr. Mark C. Panzer has been Senior Vice President and President of Pharmacy at Sears Holdings Corporation since February 5, 2014. Mr. Panzer served as the Chief Executive Officer and President of Pharmaca Integrative Pharmacy, Inc. and also served as its Chief Operating Officer since December 2008. He has over 30 years of experience in the retail food and drugindustry. He served as the Chief Marketing Officer and Senior Executive Vice President of Rite Aid Corp. from October 2005 to 2008 and its Senior Executive Vice President of Store Operations from 2001 to October 2005. He was responsible for merchandising, marketing and logistics for 5,100 stores with sales of $26 billion. Mr. Panzer served as the Senior Executive Vice President of Store Operations of Rite Aid Corp. from June 2002 to October 2005. In his capacity, he oversaw category management, marketing, merchandising and supply chain at Rite Aid Corp. He served as a Corporate Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Albertson's grocery chain, where he developed marketing and merchandising programs for 2,600 stores in 37 states. He began his career in 1972 with Osco Drug, Inc., a division of Jewel Companies acquired by American Stores and later merged with Albertson's. He served a variety of operations and marketing positions of increasing responsibility both at Osco and American Stores. Mr. Panzer received a Master's of Business Administration in Finance from Loyola University -- Chicago and a Bachelor's in Business Administration from Northeastern Illinois University.
