Biography
Professor and Vice Chair, Section Chief, Obstetric Anesthesiology. Clinical and research interests: My primary area of clinical practice and research is obstetric anesthesiology. Specifically, my research interests are the clinical aspects of obstetric anesthesiology, including the effect of neuraxial labor analgesia on the progress and outcome of labor, postdural puncture headache, neurologic injury associated with childbirth, maintenance of epidural labor analgesia, and postcesarean delivery pain and analgesia. Other interests include malignant hyperthermia, disparities in the provision of labor analgesia, and diversity in the anesthesiology workforce.
