Biography
In 2015 Ted was recognised as a Leader in the field of Synthetic Biology through the Sloan Foundation funded SynBio LEAP Leadership Excellence Accelerator Program. Ted has been a part of Prokarium since the beginning and was instrumental in spinning out and establishing the company as an independent entity. He has a past career in immunology/biotech R&D and in clinical research at one of Europe’s largest hospitals, Sahlgrenska University Hospital, in Gothenburg Sweden. Immediately prior to spinning out Prokarium Ted was a strategy consultant at the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA), working with policy makers and venture capitalists to develop strategies for SME development.
