Biography
His PhD project aims to investigate role of bifidobacteria, and specifically the strain Bifidobacterium breve UCC2003, in intestinal health and disease and its modes of action using transcriptomics, proteomics, integrated pathway analysis and experimental validation.
Research Interest
Using RNA sequencing and pathway analysis to investigate the protective effect of Bifidobacterium breve in intestinal inflammation and cell shedding.
