Biography
She have a background in both Biochemistry and Nutrition and obtained her PhD at King’s College London. Her PhD project investigated the role of cell wall in modulating lipid bioaccessibility in almonds. Then, she worked as a postdoctoral researcher at King’s College London on a DRINC BBSRC project, focusing on the mechanisms responsible for the cholesterol-lowering effect of oat β-glucan. she was currently investigating the physicochemical mechanisms that determine the bioaccessibility and/or digestibility of lipids and lipid soluble nutrients from complex food matrices.
