Dr Tanja Suligoj is a researcher in Biosciences at Quadram Institute, United Kingdom.
Research Interest
Tanja Suligoj is currently investigating the role of human milk oligosaccharides in gut health of adults using polarized organ culture system of human intestinal tissue as well as human cell lines. She have been involved in a project looking into the mechanisms of bacterial adhesion to gastrointestinal mucus. Her interest in basic gut biology led her to work on in vitro organoid culturing from Lgr5+ stem cell and live cell imaging which included an analysis of cell proliferation and migration of Lgr5+ cells in mouse small intestinal crypts.
