John Goddard

Biography

John Goddard is a Partner in L.E.K. Consulting's London office.. He has been a Partner since 1995 and has more than 25 years’ experience in strategy consulting, performance improvement, transaction support, and business development in the private and public sectors around the world. He has helped clients address issues such as strategic positioning, business plan development, acquisition due diligence, business modelling, forecasting, large scale tender submission development, and dispute resolution support. John has a particularly strong focus on industrial products and services, having advised some of the largest clients in the sector. Industrial sector interests include advanced materials, energy equipment, specialty chemicals, engineered products, aftermarket and service businesses as well as considerable experience working with private equity funds. In addition, John also leads L.E.K.’s Surface Transport & Logistics practice in Europe. Over the last 15 years he has been closely involved in transport developments across Europe, advising major transport operators, leading freight and logistics providers, public sector authorities and regulatory bodies in the bus, coach, marine, road and rail sectors. Prior to joining L.E.K., John worked for Procter & Gamble developing new products and brands in Europe and the United States. He received a BSc (Eng) in Chemical Engineering (First Class) from Imperial College and a Master of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he was a Fulbright Scholar.
