Biography
John Douglas has over 25 years of experience in environmental science, engineering and health and safety, specialising in resource efficiency programmes used to help clients in many industrial sectors to implement measures to improve raw material utilisation and water use and minimise waste-stream generation. John has conducted audit and training programmes for multinational manufacturing companies and publicly funded projects. John has in-depth experience in environment, health and safety (EHS) compliance programmes for multinational companies, having conducted numerous compliance assessments in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, engineering, automotive and food and drink sectors. He has also prepared many permit applications for UK industrial processes and designed wastewater treatment plants. John holds an MSc in biochemical engineering from University College London and a BSc in Chemical Engineering from the University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne. He also holds a Diploma in Health and Safety Management.
