Biography
"Dr Ian Brown has the unique distinction of having taught undergraduate Mathematics for over 50 years! He spent many years as Senior Lecturer at City of London Polytechnic, then London Guildhall University (now London Metropolitan University). After retiring from full time lecturing, he came to Regent's University London in 1994. He also gives a series of Masterclasses at The Royal Institution of Great Britain for specially gifted children in Mathematics."

Research into the mathematical theories of thin elastic shells.
