Chris Yuill

Biography

Chris has a background in medical sociology and an interest in urban sociology. In addition to his journal and textbook publications he has acted as an Executive Management Team member and Publications Director of the British Sociological Association (BSA) 2005-2012) and a committee member of the British Sociological Association Medical Sociology Study Group (2004-2006). More recently, Chris has assisted the Ghanaian Government's Department of Energy, on issues of health, well being and inequality, and has sat on the University Academic Council. Chris has also acted as reviewer for the following journals: Sociology, Sociology of Health and Illness, Sociological Research Online, Social Science and Medicine and Social Theory and Health.
