Biography
Appointed to the Board in November 2011 Committees Chairman of the Safety and Ethics Committee, Member of Nominations and Governance Committee, Remuneration Committee. Skills and experience Sir Frank has significant industrial and safety experience, having worked in the oil & gas industry for 38 years including appointments within Royal Dutch Shell plc and BP plc. He has a life-long passion for engineering and innovation and a deep understanding of technology, together with an outstanding record of business achievement. He was chief executive of BG Group plc for 12 years until 2012 and chairman of Golar LNG Ltd from 2014 to 2015. Sir Frank is a fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, the Institute of Mechanical Engineers and the Energy Institute. He was knighted in 2011 for services to the oil & gas industry.
