Biography
Grace has a PhD in Political Ecology from King’s College London (2017), an MA, with distinction, in Environmental, Politics and Globalisation from King’s Department of Geography (2011) and a first class honours BA in International Relations from the Laureate International University, in São Paulo (2006). Besides teaching and convening the Political Ecology of Development MSc module in the Department of Development Studies at SOAS, she is also a Postdoctoral Researcher at the London School of Economics and Political Science, where she is researching participatory approaches to natural resource conservation in the Brazilian Amazon, and a co-founder of CLOSER, a multi-disciplinary and multi-institutional research group on Brazilian socio- environmental research.
