Persian and Indian manuscript painting, Hindu early sculpture and ritual arts Dr Heather Elgood, Course Director of SOAS’ Postgraduate Diploma in Asian Art, was awarded an MBE for 'Services to Higher Education and the Arts’ in the 2015 New Year’s Honours list, published on Tuesday 30 December 2014.
