Biography
Leon Goldman is a Postdoctoral Researcher attached to the Multimedia Yasna (MuYa) Project funded by the European Research Council and directed by Prof. Almut Hintze. His primary research interest is the Zoroastrian religion, together with the languages associated with its sacred texts, in particular Avestan, Middle Persian (Pahlavi) and Sanskrit. As a former British Academy Postdoctoral Fellow, he undertook a study of the Sanskrit Yasna and his publications include an edition of the Avestan language Rašn Yašt, the ‘Hymn to Justice’.
