Biography
Srivatsan Lakshminarayan holds an MSc with distinction from the Centre for Financial and Management Studies, SOAS University Of London. He is a CFA charter-holder and member of the CFA Institute, USA. He is also a Chartered Accountant and an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. He was awarded the Sir Dorabji Tata Trust Scholarship for outstanding academic and extra-curricular performance through undergraduate degree in accounting. He has previously taught accounting and finance as an Associate Professor at SPJIMR Business School, India and portfolio management (theory and practice) as a visiting faculty member at S.P. Jain School of Global Management, Singapore. He has worked in positions of senior responsibility with the Investment Bank at JPMorganChase in Mumbai, London and Singapore in fixed income product control, financial planning & control and operations risk management. He has prior experience in the accounting profession with Indian member firms of the Big Four covering a range of assignments in US and Indian GAAP conversion, assurance and compliance. He has been awarded a Doctoral Scholarship (2013-2016) at SOAS where he is currently a PhD Candidate with the School of Finance and Management. He is associated with the CFA Institute as a Global Education Advisory Board Working Body member and a Global Professional Conduct Program volunteer. He holds a certificate in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) from the Institute Of Chartered Accountants in Eng. & Wales (ICAEW).
