Research Interest
Developing new epidemic theory regarding the relationship between population heterogeneity, scale of heterogeneity, and spread of pests and diseases. Building spatially explicit, multi-scale decision support tools (disease forecasting systems). Performing climate change risk assessments for numerous pests and pathogens of importance to the Scottish economy.
