Biography
Richard has worked in industry for over 23 years and has held a number of senior management positions before becoming Chief Scientist at Scottish Water and then Managing Director at Scottish Water Horizons. Richard has a broad range of experiences from overseeing Scottish Water`s Scientific services, drinking water quality programme and public health protection; to delivering renewable energy projects and other commercial businesses. Richard currently holds the post of Chairman of the Strategic Advisory Board: Environment at CEN and attends the CEN Technical Board. Richard represents BSi as a technical expert on water quality test methods and Environmental Technology Verification (ETV). Richard sits on the Technical Advisory Group (TAG) at the Construction Scotland Innovation Centre (CSIC), the Green Growth Program Board and is a committee member of the Water Science Form at the Royal Society of Chemistry.
