Iasmi Sterianou
Lecturer
Materials Engineering
Sheffield Hallam University
United Kingdom
Biography
She received her MEng in Chemical Engineering from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece, in 2003, after completing her dissertation on Molecular Beam Epitaxy and its Application on High-Temperature Superconductors. She then did research on bismuth-based perovskites for high temperature piezoelectric applications and received her PhD in Engineering Materials from the University of Sheffield in 2008. Upon completing her PhD, she became a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Sheffield working in advanced functional oxides within Professor Reaney’s group.
