Biography
Jane joined Sheffield Hallam in early 2009 as the manager of a team of professional services officers and administrators. Jane and her team are responsible for PhD/MPhil student admissions and administration, project support - pre and post award, research support, REF and other departmental activities across MERI, all of which are undertaken in conjunction and in support of research staff and students in the Institute. Jane's experience ranges from undergraduate, postgraduate taught and research student support, REF, examinations, quality assurance, budgets to grant writer, supporting and managing projects from funders such as FP7, EU, Research Councils, ESF, ERDF, Royal Society, Government and others, including large private company research contracts.
