Biography
Dr Si Thu Kyaw joined Sheffield Hallam University in 2016 as a lecturer in Mechanical, Materials and Design Engineering group. Prior to this post, he was a postdoctoral researcher at University of Nottingham where he received BEng (1st class honours) in 2009 and PhD in 2013 respectively. Si Thu has extensive knowledge in finite element analysis (FEA). He has been involved in projects concerning structural integrity and lifetime analyses of power plant components using FEA.
