Biography
Tehmina Basit has been involved in teaching Masters, PhD and EdD students. She has previously held positions at Keele, Manchester Metropolitan, Leicester and Wolverhampton Universities. Her main teaching area is Research Methods. She developed a new MSc in Educational Research Methods at the University of Leicester, and has published a book on Educational Research.
Research Interest
Research interests include the education of minority ethnic groups; race and ethnicity; gender; social class; citizenship and young people; social justice; social inclusion; initial teacher training; the professional development of teachers; and qualitative research methodology.
