Biography
Dr Anqi Shen, Reader in Law | REF UoA Lead (Law) | Member of the Research and Innovation Committee (RIC) | Department of Criminology, Law and Policing, School of Social Sciences, Business and Law. Anqi is Research Fellow at the Jiangsu Collaborative Innovation Centre for Development of Regional Rule of Law in China since 2015; Adjunct Professor at Law School in Nanjing University of Finance and Economics since 2013. She is a Consulting Editor for Journal of Women & Criminal Justice (Routledge).
Research Interest
Anqi's research focus is in the areas of policing, organised crime, gender, youth, crime and justice, sentencing, the legal profession, judicial culture, and migration and crime.
