Biography
Professor Nigel Copsey is a specialist in fascism and anti-fascism. He joined the History team at Teesside University in 1996. Prior to this, his PhD was on right-wing extremism in contemporary France and Britain.
Research Interest
He is a Professor of Modern History, co-lead of the Resilient and Secure Societies Grand Challenge, and co-director of the Centre for Fascist, Anti-Fascist and Post-Fascist Studies. He is co-editor of Brill's journal, Fascism: Journal of Comparative Fascist Studies (with Dr Graham Macklin) and also with Dr Graham Macklin, he is co-editor of the book series 'Routledge Studies in Fascism and the Far Right'.
