Biography
Sean has been at Teesside University since 2007, and is a well-established academic and tutor with a wealth experience of teaching, learning and course management. He has developed key specialisms a range of topics, including Youth Work Practice, Childhood and Youth Studies, Children’s Rights, Globalization, Youth Work History, and Contemporary Youth Policy. He has significant experience of programme management, including course leadership of professional degree programmes, liaison with validating bodies and employer/sector engagement. He is currently programme co-ordinator for FdA Working with Children and Young People, supporting collaborative provision and sector skills development. He brings to lecture room a wealth of professional practice knowledge, with over 20 years Youth and Community Work experience, including work across Teesside, as well as posts in Manchester, Liverpool and Leicester.
