Biography
Gerhardt is an Academic Medical Oncology Consultant who specialises in the treatment of advanced prostate cancer and in early drug development.He was appointed an Honorary Consultant at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust in April 2013. He graduated with a degree in Medicine from the University of Malta in June 1999, was awarded a PhD by The Institute of Cancer Research (ICR) in 2010 and completed his specialist training in medical oncology as an NIHR clinical lecturer at The Royal Marsden in 2013.
Research Interest
Gerhardt has academic research, both in the laboratory, investigating novel therapies for the treatment of prostate cancer, and in clinical trial research.
