Biography
Butler is a gynaecological surgeon. He is certified as both a specialist gynaecologist and sub-specialist gynaecological oncology by the RCOG. He qualified in medicine from St Mary’s Hospital in 2000 and continued his postgraduate training in London, including his oncology training at The Royal Marsden and St Bartholomew’s Hospital.
Research Interest
Butler main interests include ultra-radical gynaecological cancer surgery, fertility-preserving surgery for cervical cancer, minimal access surgery, risk-reducing surgery for BRCA, and vulval cancer.
