Biography
I completed my MA in psychology at Aberdeen University. I then moved to the other end of the country to Plymouth University. After completing a MSc in Psychological Research Methods, I worked as a Research Assistant on projects which investigated quality of life after total laryngectomy, the effectiveness of interprofessional training for medical and nursing students and the effectiveness of a new mental health service that had been set up in GP practices. I moved back to Scotland in 2008 and accepted a post as a Teaching Fellow at Heriot Watt University. I am currently working as a Research Assistant in Geriatric Medicine on a Chief Scientist Office funded project investigating fatigue after stroke. I am also currently studying for a PhD.
