George Wolff
Professor
Earth, Ocean and Ecological Sciences
The University of Liverpool

Biography
I trained as a Chemist at University but have always been interested in the Earth System and how it works. I ended up in Marine Science by accident but have enjoyed it immensely. I have enjoyed most working with students and seeing them flower - certainly the best part of the job!
Research Interest
Earth's organic chemistry, focussing on marine and freshwater environments and linking with the geological and more recent past.
