Biography
Professor Nick Miles is an Pro Vice Chancellor for Advancement, Faculty of Executive Office in University of Nottingham
Research Interest
Professor Nick Miles current areas of research activity are in the vibration of fine particle mixtures (granular dynamics) and super-conducting magnetic separation in collaboration with physicists, gravity separation of fine particles, application of swirling flows in slurry transportation, dry cleaning of coal and the development of low cost sensors. Increasingly he is exploring the application of the application of mineral processing technology to the recovery and recycling of materials.
