Non-linear Finite Element analysis; High temperature creep and fatigue applications; Structural Integrity of power plant components; Life prediction of welded structures; Continuum damage mechanics analysis; Welding process modelling; Fracture mechanics assessment and creep crack growth of welds. Thermal-mechanical fatigue of power plant and aeroengine material and components; Miniature specimen creep testing techniques.
