Biography
Dr Adalgisa Giorgio is highly regarded both in the UK and abroad for her work on Italian women writers and for her edited publications on European women’s writing. She also has a recognized expertise in Neapolitan narrative and has written leading articles on Fabrizia Ramondino. She has links with the Fondazione Premio Napoli. She is among the founders of the Centre for Contemporary Women’s Writing (IGRS, University of London) and is a member of its Steering Committee. She has organized interdisciplinary conferences on Southern Italy, Italy in the 1970s, European women writers and Fabrizia Ramondino. She is on the editorial board of the Journal of Romance Studies and Italian Culture.
